About Leotta Auto Repair Inc

Located at 1171 Rossville Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309, Leotta Auto Repair Inc operates as an auto repair shop serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Staten Island, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Leotta Auto Repair Inc at (718) 356-9655; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 195 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Staten Island.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Staten Island peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I usually never write reviews but this one is warranted. My car left with more problems than it came in with. Also, the ladies at the desk are extremely rude and act like they are doing you a favor for the service that was paid. I don’t see how they are highly recommended.

Mario and the staff at Leotta Auto Repair are the best there is. They are efficient, friendly, reliable and very knowledgeable. You will not find a business that offers the friendly and kind services you will find at Leotta. I have been going to them for over 30 years. Very few times do you hear people say they have been with their mechanic for that long of a time, but with Leotta, its family. I left NY almost 2 years ago and Mario and Amy, always take care of my elderly mother when she comes in. Its actually one of my mothers favorite place that she has to go to, because she is so comfortable.

Mario was recommended to me by multiple people, and now I understand why. He is an honest and transparent mechanic, and I had a great experience at this shop. The service was excellent, everything was explained clearly, and I never felt like I was being pushed into unnecessary work. On top of that, he didn’t even charge me for the diagnostic work he did on my truck, which really showed me that he cares about helping customers, not just making money. This is definitely going to be my new spot to take my car from now on. Highly recommend.

Mario and his team at Leotta's Auto Repair are incredible. They took the time to properly diagnose my car and clearly explained everything along the way, which I really appreciated! They are knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend Leotta’s and will definitely be back.
